Adjudicator - Philip Fowke

Recognized as one of Britain’s most distinguished pianists, Philip Fowke follows a busy international career, appearing regularly with the world’s leading orchestras and conductors.

He is known for his performances of British repertoire as well as Tchaikowsky, Rachmaninov, Schumann and Grieg, whose Piano Concerto he recently performed with the BSO in Bournemouth Winter Gardens.

His virtuosity and high musical intellect have led him to explore unusual or neglected repertoire in concertos and in recital and chamber music, much of which he has recorded for different companies.

Philip Fowke is frequently invited to adjudicate on panels for international competitions and to contribute to BBC music discussion programmes. He gives regular masterclasses world-wide and is currently Senior Fellow of Keyboard at Trinity College of Music in London.
