Poole Arts Association also promote a series of summer lunchtime concerts at St Peter's Church, Parkstone (see venue) every Friday from 1.00 to1.30pm, starting  in early June through to late September. These concerts feature mostly young professionals either at music schools or colleges, or starting out on their professional careers. Amongst these younger artists are, however, a sprinkling of 'old' favourites of our regular audiences.
The concerts are now in their 8^th season and were started by well-known local musician and teacher, the late Geoffrey Hughes. We are now indebted to Christine Taylor for undertaking the arduous task of organising the series. A pdf file of the publicity leaflet, which gives the complete list of concerts, may be downloaded from here     and the full programme for the coming week's concert will be shown below as soon as it is available.

The 2011 series has now ended. It has been a very succesfull one with a good mixture of new and regular performers. We are very grateful to all of them for their performances and time.

Christine Taylor and our Chairman Hazel Hughes are already planning for the 2012 season which will start on June 1^st 2012. The preliminary performance list will probably be available from this site around April. Keep a look out for it next year!
