Poole Arts Association also promote a series of summer lunchtime concerts at St Peter's Church, Parkstone (see venue) every Friday from 1.00 to1.30pm, starting  on June 4^th through to October 1^st. These concerts feature mostly young professionals either at music schools or colleges, or starting out on their professional careers. Amongst these younger artists are, however, a sprinkling of 'old' favourites of our regular audiences.
The concerts are now in their 7^th season and were started by well-known local musician and teacher, the late Geoffrey Hughes. We are now indebted to Christine Taylor for undertaking the arduous task of organising the series.
